White Pepper
White pepper is produced from the ripe berries of the pepper plant, Piper nigrum. The process begins with harvesting the berries, which are soaked in water to soften their outer skin. After a few days of fermentation, the outer layer is removed, leaving the inner seed. Finally, the seeds are dried, resulting in the distinctive flavor and aroma of white pepper that is cherished in various cuisines.
